Emerald & Peter

We met up with Emerald and Peter on the day after Valentine’s Day to shoot their engagement photos. We started at Dunn Bros. off Hennepin by Mill City Ruins, ventured down toward the ruins and the Guthrie, then crossed the Stone Arch Bridge to St. Anthony Main, where we stopped by the restaurant where Peter proposed to Emerald.

Despite the chilly weather, we had a blast and are very much looking forward to their wedding on May 30.

Longing for summer

Looking through some older mountain bike photos of mine got me dreaming of warm summer days. This photo was from one of the first road trips that Laura and I took together. We traveled out to Colorado and Utah to bike and camp.

In Colorado we rode the Fruita trails with my good friend Joe, who had moved out to Vail. This shot was a self portrait using a mini tripod and the timer on the trail Joe’s Ridge.

Visiting Hours

For anyone who is interested in stopping by the Hospital’s visiting hours are today from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m.  We are at Saint John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Mn.  Feel free to call ahead if you want to come out and I can help with directions.

One thing to note the nurses have asked any who are sick or have been exposed to sickness to refrain for coming for the benefit of the young patients.

We’re baaaaack

Last night they decided that Laura had not progressed enough during the day so they sent us home for the night with instruction to come back at seven a.m the next day.  After checking Laura’s progress this morning it was decided that we should be using pitosin to induce labor.

Heartbeats

They have Laura hooked up to a machine that monitors the heartbeat so I recorded some audio.
